![]() ![]() (for this and many other "estimated" elements). ![]() Yet all of those will have to be adjusted if I get further confirmation of Krem's actual age, etc. By the same token, if I estimate when Krem was born (I posit that he's about 28 during events of Dragon Age: Inquisition in 9:40), I could then attempt to at least generally define when he became a soldier, when he fled Tevinter, when he was rescued by Bull, etc. Bull's age is approximate, and has been referenced casually by some Dragon Age writers on social media. Which also means that each of these birth dates and milestones is also a potential house of cards. which means I'll probably have to further update this several times in the future! I had to guess at things like Krem's age when he left Tevinter. ![]() We know he breaks down and is then lightly reeducated, then sent to Orlais, where he spends approximately 10 years (first with another mercenary band, then founding the Chargers on his own). Given the increasing toxicity of gaming and pop culture these days, I really want to call out my thanks to them for their kindness to myself and so many other fans.įor another example-we know Bull is in Seheron for 8 years. All of the writers have tweeted similarly useful and pivotal information, from David Gaider, to Mary Kirby, Jennifer Hepler, and so many others, as always reminding me of how passionate, supportive and accessible the Dragon Age team continues to be for us fans. With this in mind, I not only used specific dates of reference, but I attempted to incorporate implied/estimated elements and information as well-sometimes from tweets (for instance, Patrick Weekes once tweeted that Briala is 2-3 years younger than Celene, which gave me a wealth of plot points), and sometimes from game dialogue and Codices. characters who live off the grid in the game (and behind it!). Piecing together Cassandra's was fun, for instance, because I had plenty of hard facts, but a handful of important moments that aren't specified (I suspect I'm going to have to adjust her activities during and after Dawn of the Seeker considerably in the future).Īnd don't even get me started on the challenges of characters like Merrill, or Bull, or Sera and others. So, in all of the above, I went through every single page, biography, and codex to try to nail down important births and deaths, as well as major milestones and events beyond what we know instantly in the games (oh hush, I have no life). Plus: a variety of links and websites by some terrifically knowledgeable and dedicated Dragon Age fans across Tumblr and Reddit, as I noted in my first timeline post here. Of course, this is the Age that has taken me the most work and assembly, but it's also been so much fun, and so exciting! In assembling this information, I used the following sources and resources:īioWare conversations with writers and editors This is the product of a solid 6-8 weeks of serious work, and it's really exciting to get here. Here's what I've been leading up to with all my timeline research for my attempt at creating a cohesive, "ultimate" Dragon Age Timeline: The Dragon Age! ![]()
